ABOUT US

Samuel R. Stokes and Janet Hester Stokes were married on June 2, 1979. We have two wonderful children, J.T. and Angel. In May of 2015 we gained a sweet daughter-in-law when J.T. married Julie Bowling.
   On February the 18th 2018 . we had a new addition to our family, J.T. and Julie had their first child .
  Thomas Everett  Stokes.
 

The Lord has  blessed us greatly throughout these many years of marriage. We are retired from our regular jobs and able to enjoy time with family and friends.

SAM'S COMMENTS: THROUGHOUT OUR LIVES JANET AND I HAVE BEEN SEEKING THE TRUTH. WE'VE GONE TO MANY DIFFERENT PLACES OF WORSHIP , SEEKING THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH.

LAST NIGHT THROUGH THIS MORNING I REALIZED SOMETHING:
JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS , TO SET US FREE FROM SIN AND RULES WORSHIP.
THEN THE HEAVENLY FATHER SENT THE HOLY SPIRIT TO DWELL IN EACH ONE OF US.
NOW IT'S OUR CHOICE:  TO WALK BY AND IN RULES OR THROUGH THE SPIRIT,
BY LOVE, BLESSING ONE ANOTHER, CARING ABOUT AND FOR EACH OTHER.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO JUST FOLLOW THE RULES AND NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT,
THEN YOUR BIBLE STOPS AT THE GOSPELS, BECAUSE FROM ACTS FORWARD TEACHES US ALL
TO BE GUIDED AND WALK IN THE SPIRIT.

NOTE: I WANT EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND THAT  I DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO FOLLOW ME OR WHAT I DO. INSTEAD I ENCOURAGE YOU TO SEEK FOR YOURSELVES WHAT THE SPIRIT IS GUIDING YOU TO DO, JUST LIKE WE ARE DOING DAILY;  24 HOURS, 7 DAYS A WEEK.  LORD JESUS BLESS YOU ALL!
